Cecilia Blotto is a trilingual multimedia journalist currently working as a Digital Production Journalist at The Telegraph and as a contributing writer at various publications. Her work has featured on The Associated Press, Far Out Magazine, The Italy Edit and more.
She graduated with an MS degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in 2024 and, prior to that, graduated with First Class Honours in History of Art and Italian at University College London in 2023.
Since her childhood, Cecilia has been a story-teller. Inspired by her mother, a dancer, she found her initial narrative inspiration in ballet, its raw, emotive power communicated through movement and sound.
Whether crafting her handmade “bestselling novels” like the Tales of Ninconpoop series, the still enduring personal diary, the literature or art encountered, storytelling has always been a way for her to make sense of the world.
